Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Travel or Local
Grovetown, GA
Start Date: February 10
End Date: May 22
Service Delivery Model: In person/ Hybrid
Hybrid Option: Up to two virtual days per week maximum

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
TACT Staff is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team! In this role, you will support students with communication, language, articulation, fluency, and swallowing disorders that impact academic success and daily functioning. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, collaboration skills, and a student-centered approach to therapy and intervention planning.
This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working in school settings and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full communication potential.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility for services
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and progress reviews
Maintain accurate therapy documentation and compliance with federal and state regulations
Provide consultation and strategies to staff and families to support student communication goals
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Support assistive technology and augmentative communication implementation when appropriate
Requirements (Georgia)
Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
