Position Overview
TACT Staff is seeking a compassionate and skilled School-Based Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a dynamic educational setting. The service delivery model (in-person, hybrid, or remote) will align with the district’s specific requirements.
In this role, you will help students develop the communication skills necessary for academic success and meaningful participation in the classroom.
Maternity Leave Coverage – Service Delivery Focus
This position is focused on direct service delivery. The caseload is established, and all IEPs are complete.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with existing IEPs
- Implement established IEP goals and service minutes as written
- Complete required progress monitoring and Progress Update reports within district timelines
- Maintain accurate, compliant service logs and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed for progress updates or team collaboration
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student communication goals
- Ensure all services align with district, state, and federal regulations
- No initial evaluations or IEP development required — caseload is established
- Active IL SLP License
- Active IL PEL
