Position Overview
TACT Staff is seeking a compassionate and motivated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a collaborative educational setting.
Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in delivering speech and language services that help students build the communication skills necessary for academic success and meaningful participation in the classroom.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans and IEP goals developed by the supervising SLP Collect and document data on student performance and progress
- Assist with therapy materials preparation and classroom carryover strategies
- Support screenings and other non-diagnostic tasks as directed Maintain accurate service logs and required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication goals
- Follow district, state, and federal (IDEA) guidelines
Required Licensure & Credentials
- District Requirements (TBD)
- NMPED Certification
