Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, performing administrative and clinical duties, and ensuring efficient patient flow within the hospital. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Prepare and dispense medications according to established protocols and guidelines
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient medication therapy and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures
• Manage inventory and stock medications appropriately
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Current CMA certification from an accredited program (AAMA, AMT, or NCCT).

• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
