School Physical Therapist
TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled School Physical Therapist to join our team! As a School Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating students with physical disabilities or movement challenges and developing personalized therapy plans to improve mobility, balance, and motor coordination. You will provide direct therapy to help students gain independence in daily activities, including classroom participation and physical education.. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent problem-solving skills to assess and address students’ physical needs. They should be compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents to develop tailored interventions. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working in a team-oriented environment, while attention to detail and organizational skills are needed to track progress and maintain accurate documentation..

- Assess and evaluate students’ physical abilities and movement challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including exercises and activities to improve physical function.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
