Job Details

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic testing of blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to support accurate medical diagnoses. Operate laboratory instruments and ensure quality control protocols are maintained to deliver precise results for hospital inpatients, emergency patients, and outpatient specimens.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze samples using approved procedures and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results and quality control data.
• Follow CLIA and CAP regulations to ensure laboratory compliance and safety.
• Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely test results critical for patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Hold ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Demonstrate experience with Epic, Antibody Identification, Emergency Blood Banking, or Ortho Vitros 5600 systems.
• Possess strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality assurance standards.
• Show proficiency in operating laboratory instruments and performing quality control.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all testing processes.
