Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide direct patient care on a 10-bed unit with Tele capability, supporting a variety of acuity levels and patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with support staff, including Tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with clinical policies.
• Float across all MedSurg units and ICU to manage overflow patients as needed.
• Perform rounds to monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in MedSurg settings.
• Have current ACLS and BLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Telemetry and acute care nursing practices.
• Possess the ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts with no cancellations.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
