Job Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide specialized circulating nursing care for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires experience in a fast-paced surgical environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain sterile techniques throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe operation processes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Manage preoperative preparations and postoperative patient assessments.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess current, unexpired nursing license with circulating operating room experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures including general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Capable of working the usual shift hours from 0700-1530, with 6-8 days of call per month, limited weekend and holiday calls.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Must include a copy of a valid driver’s license with submissions.
